Estate Administration is the process of making sure that a Decedent’s Will is filed with the proper court in order to have the Personal Representative (called an “executor” in other states) empowered by court order to carry out the terms of the Will. Having an attorney to guide you through this process is a valuable service and is usually done without court hearings, if handled correctly. In situations where there is no Will, an interested person (usually a relative of the Decedent) retains us to file with the court an application for probate known as “intestate” administration.

As a real estate investor himself, our founder (Bob Baker) has over 50 years of experience dealing with the documentation of land transactions, including commercial, residential, and oil and gas properties. He previously served as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for a New York Stock exchange corporation and spent many years working as co-counsel with some of the top law firms in New York City. He managed a portfolio of real estate holdings for some of the top brokerage houses in the U.S. from 1986 to 1996. He continues to advise clients in this area of law.
Robert W. (Bob) Baker, an accomplished attorney licensed in Colorado and Texas, has had a remarkable career of more than 50 years marked by excellence in a variety of settings. He graduated with honors from high school, and went on to serve as an Aviation Cadet in the Army ROTC while an undergraduate in college. He went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence with high honors from Texas Tech University. In his military service, he excelled as a US Army officer, leading legal administrative units and contributing to top-secret planning for air defense in Vietnam.
Bob's illustrious career as an attorney spans decades and includes a range of notable achievements. While in law school he was selected as the managing editor of the Law Review Staff and graduated in the top 10% of his class. Voted as the Most Outstanding Graduate of Texas Tech Law School by his peers and the faculty, Bob demonstrated exceptional legal acumen early on. As an attorney he served in a variety of roles. Beginning his career as an associate in a prestigious Texas law firm, he went on to become a General Counsel for a New York Stock Exchange firm. Bob then went to work in private law practices focused on estate planning, real estate, business law, and more which he continues to this day.
Beyond his legal pursuits, Bob's dedication to community service is equally impressive. He founded the Colorado Marriage Project and served as an elder and executive pastor at Vinelife Community Church in Boulder as well as Denver United Church. In his childhood and early in his career he served at his hometown church in Texas. Throughout his journey, Bob has embodied an unwavering commitment to military service, academic achievement, legal excellence, and community enrichment, leaving an indelible mark on all he touches.
